At TryEmiCalculator, your financial data belongs exclusively to you. All computation formulas, compounding algorithms, down payment netting, prepayment savings estimations, and amortization schedules are compiled and computed entirely inside your local web browser.
We do not transmit, collect, or store any numbers you input into our sliders or input boxes (including but not limited to home property value, down payment, loan principal amount, annual interest rates, loan tenure, residual balloon value, monthly property taxes, monthly home insurance premiums, or extra prepayments).
2. Local Storage and Preferences.
We utilize standard browser local storage (localStorage) strictly to preserve your interface preferences. This allows our page to maintain your visual selections across sessions:
theme: Remembers your selection of Light Mode vs. Dark Mode to prevent flashing on load.selected-lang: Remembers your choice of display language for translations.
This data never leaves your device and is not linked to any user identifier.
3. Data security.
Because no calculator inputs are sent to our servers, there is no remote data repository to target or leak. The risk of eavesdropping on your financial planning data is virtually eliminated, provided your local web browser and operating system are secure.
4. Third-party integrations.
Our site may load assets from verified networks:
- FlagCDN: Used to fetch small flag icons in the language dropdown.
- Google Fonts: Used to load premium typography assets (Inter and JetBrains Mono).
These networks may collect metadata such as your IP address or user-agent details in accordance with standard asset hosting logs.
5. Policy updates.
We may update our privacy policies from time to time to document changes in browser APIs or new calculator parameters. Any modifications will be posted directly on this page with an updated "Last Updated" timestamp.
